A Conversation with Photographer Nicolò Degiorgis.
Moderated by Alessandra Capodacqua, Lecturer, NYU Florence
Nicolò Degiorgis will present a selection of books he published under the motto/the manifesto ‘Books as spaces, about spaces, within spaces’ that reflect on publishing as an artistic practice to open a wider discussion around collaborative art projects and publishing as a creative practice. Using the image as a vector and the book as a form – the book becomes an object, unfolding and developing into a potential exhibition – his work allows us to enter uninhabited, neglected spaces that nevertheless reflect the collective uses of the city.
As part of the (In)Visible Spaces Series.
