MIlano

(NYU Florence Students’-only field trip)

Museum Meetings and the Office of Student Life have organized a trip to Milan to view the wonderful Gothic Duomo, the Castello Sforzesco, which preserves the last Pietà by Michelangelo, and to walk around the most European of all Italian cities.

Highlight of the trip will be a guided visit to the international exhibition: Goya. The Rebellion of Reason. This is a special opportunity to discover the works of this Spanish master (1746-1828), discussing his artistic career developed over a long historical period, saturated with epochal events, political, social, ideological changes that ushered in a new era of History.
