A Conversation with game designer, narrative designer and software developer Paolo Polsinelli.
Narrative design is a specialized approach to producing content primarily for video games, but is also used for board games, VR installations, escape rooms and playful performative theatre. Its objective is to create an experience to enjoy, not just a plot to follow, more closely related to theme park design or interior design rather than to writing films or novels. In this talk, we’ll examine several examples of narrative design work and their context and references.
Moderated by Scott Palmer, Lecturer, NYU Florence
