Through her performance, we will embark on a journey from Milan’s Via Padova to Jasley’s Somali roots, exploring the hidden beauty of the city’s outskirts, second-generation identity, vulnerability, and the search for belonging.

Jasley
SINGER AND SONGWRITER
Jasmin, stage name Jasley, is an Italian-Somali singer-songwriter born in Milan in 1998, literally on the move: she took her first breath in a taxi, the perfect symbol of the journey that runs through her entire history. Raised in Via Padova, one of the city’s liveliest and most multi-ethnic neighborhoods, she brings to her music the energy, contradictions, and cultural richness of a suburb that never stops changing.
Her passion for music began early, within the atmosphere of sharing typical of the Somali community. At the age of twelve, her mother enrolled her in a choir course: from there began a journey of discovery made up of influences, experimentation, and different listening experiences, which led her to build a unique and deeply personal musical identity.
Today, her music is a bridge between her roots and the present, between intimate experiences and social issues that permeate everyday life in the neighborhood: identity, a sense of belonging, the second generation, the hidden beauty of the suburbs, fragility, and rebirth.
Parallel to her musical project, Jasley also develops a narrative journey on Instagram, made up of reels and video stories that open authentic windows onto her world: stories of the street, faces, family memories, and fragments of reality that become an integral part of her artistic project. These are not simply social media content, but chapters of a larger narrative that accompanies and amplifies the messages of her songs.
With a sensitive gaze and a voice that tells stories, Jasley is a true artist who knows how to touch the heart and soul of her audience.With a sensitive eye and a contemporary voice, Jasley brings a new perspective to the Italian music scene: the suburbs that don’t ask to be told about, but to be listened to.
In 2025, he signed with Island Records/Universal and released the single “+252.”
