On-site guided visit with Francesca Baldry, Villa La Pietra Collection Manager
Discover 720 years of sculptural and architectural masterpieces, now presented in a modern museum space, including works by Michelangelo, Donatello, Ghiberti, Verrocchio, and the statues from the Giotto Bell Tower and the Cathedral. We will observe and discuss the original function and location of the various artworks, their techniques and current aesthetic interpretation in the Grande Museo del Duomo, designed by Architect Adolfo Natalini.
