The Second International House Museum Days will take place on April 18-19, 2026. This collaborative initiative led by the Italian National Association of Houses of Memory (Italy) with ICOM-DEMHIST and ICOM-ICLCM (International Committee of Literary and Composers’ Museums) is dedicated to celebrating historic houses, houses of memory and the figures they commemorate.
As a member of ICOM-DEMHIST, Villa La Pietra will open its doors free of charge on Saturday, April 18th. Guided tours focused on the Acton family, their taste and the way they theatrically decorated their home with beautiful artwork and furniture will be offered morning and afternoon. Reservations are required by writing to villa.lapietra@nyu.edu.
