Here you are heading towards the Giardino Segreto, in English, Secret Garden. This is one of the oldest sections of Villa La Pietra’s garden and grounds as we know them today. In the past, it was part of the walled gardens dedicated to cultivating fruit and vegetables for the villa. Today it is an example of a Neo-Renaissance Garden, just as Arthur Acton envisioned in the early twentieth century.
